Trejon Dinkins is a key player on the Saint Peter’s Prep football team. This senior plays running back, cornerback and has already racked up some remarkable stats. He has four touchdowns to his name, three on the ground and one on a kickoff return against McDonough. His speed on the field has earned him the nickname, “Zoom Zoom.” Although seen as a larger-than-life figure and an awe-inspiring athlete for Prep students at games, he still embodies the “man for others” ideal so dear to the Prep faithful. He attempts to live these values through football, relishing the brotherhood that it fosters. Trejon explained that one noticeable improvement the football team has made this year is that it is more unified. This contributes to the senior’s favorite element of the football team, which is the bond players share with one another. Hopefully the support of his classmates and Marauder Nation will help him achieve his goal of winning a State Championship in his final year wearing a Prep uniform with the number one on his chest.
